Aviation is traditionally about defying great odds and overcoming the laws of nature, the politics of man, the limitations of economy and technological development. For the most, aviation is an exclusive privilege to the military, corporate giants, and a selected group of privileged individuals.
The Children's Flight
The Children’s Flight is a non-profit movement that provides underprivileged children with the opportunity to experience the thrill of flying. The movement was founded by a group of passionate individuals, who wished to share the dream and plant the seed of hope.
The Children’s Flight convenes once a year to bring the once in a lifetime opportunity to groups of children, who otherwise would never have the opportunity to experience flight. This is done by bringing together aviators, businesses, and private sponsors to provide children with a day of flying and fun. The kids are treated to some delicious food and treats in between trips in different aeroplanes, helicopters, and gliders.
This was the 8th annual Children’s Flight event. The founders of NETLOGiX, Wynand and Tonie Britz are both keen aviators so they believe it’s a special privilege to be the title sponsor of The Children’s Flight 2023.
